Art Camps at PCA offer students ages 4-17 a fun and instructive art-making experience. Divided by theme, medium and age group, students work alongside peers and experienced educators to create both independent and collaborative projects.

Like all of PCA’s classes, Art Camps reinforce the importance of the creative journey by providing a balance between both process and product. In addition to art making, students may engage in discussions, watch a visiting artist’s demo or visit our galleries in the Marshall Building to view some of the region’s most interesting contemporary art.

Students participating in full-day or two half-day camps will have a thirty-minute lunch break in the afternoon, often in the adjacent Mellon Park. One and two week camps are also offered during winter and spring holiday vacations, along with select one-day camps throughout the year.
