The Japanese invented gyotaku (gyo=fish, taku=rubbing) in the 1800ís to record their catch (a fish print doesnít lie). Since then, Gyotaku (pronounced ghio-ta-koo) has evolved into an art form that you now have the chance to try. Select from a variety of sizes, shapes, and textures of fish to create colorful prints that are both beautiful and authentic. Open to adults and children ages 9 and up.
