Studio Arts Scholarship Fund

Pittsburgh Filmmakers and Pittsburgh Center for the Arts joins national education experts in the belief that arts education not only enhances our quality of life, but encourages greater self-confidence, creativity and critical thinking skills. We recognize that accessibility to art, particularly enrollment in art classes, may be impaired by financial need. The Studio Arts Scholarship Fund provides the necessary resources to make hands-on arts classes and workshops at the Center available to children and adults who face financial challenges.

PF/PCA uses a sliding scale based on federal poverty guidelines to determine scholarship awards for each individual. Since 1995, over $500,000 has been awarded to more than
5,000 students.
