Students will have opportunities to select the position of the figure model so they can focus on specific skill building, interests and needs.
Learn the basics of working with watercolors while exploring a sampling of different techniques including washes, using salt and wax, painting wet and dry, saturation, layering, and more. Class includes one session with a model.
This 2-day workshop will put new techniques in your artist toolbox. Lose dimensionality and gain creative freedom! Students will earn four ways to use color to create a flat dimensional perspective. Each day will focus on achieving different effects, and will include lessons on color combinations that create luminosity, how to achieve a filtered light effect using opaque paint, and pairing bright colors with neutrals. Each class will include an instructor demonstration, student feedback sessions and individual instruction.
