Comic Configurations
by Joseph Lupo

My intention behind this exhibition is to showcase the various formal deconstructions of the comic book “The Invincible Iron Man”, volume 01, issue 178, published in 1982. The crux of the show will be three series of prints, each series containing 23 prints, so 69 total prints in all. These series of prints are visual deconstructions of entire pages of the Iron Man comic book. Supporting this work would be framed prints of single panels and single comic bubbles, both in black and white and in CMYK color.
