Group Visits

Our Group Visits program gives your students the opportunity to view and discuss works of art by practicing contemporary artists and to create their own works of art in our ten professional studios. We offer three options for your visit and are also available to discuss a customized experience for your group to help you meet your educational goals.

Our programs fulfill many PA Academic Standards and Common Core Standards and can be personally-tailored to accommodate the developmental needs of students in grades K - 12.

This group visit experience encourages students to respond creatively to their observations of artwork on view in our contemporary galleries. We'll engage your group in inquiry-based discussion, and sketching or writing exercises in the exhibition and then move to one of our studios so that students can respond to their gallery experiences by participating in a hands-on art activity. Groups may choose to work in 2D media including drawing, painting, printmaking and mixed media collage.
