Picture This! is a juried photography exhibit that will feature the works of professional photographers at Pittsburgh Center for the Arts in Shadyside. As a component of the collaboration, students from Ward Home will take part in a photography workshop taught through the Youth Media Program of PF/PCA in preparation for the exhibit. Photos from the Ward Home teens will be presented in conjunction with the juried exhibition.

PCA Shop Screening for New Artists

The Shop at the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts will be screening artwork by new consignment artists to complement the existing mix of work currently represented. Because the Shop receives many requests from those who wish to show with us, we ask that interested artists submit to our digital screening for review. As our main focus during business hours is to represent and promote the artwork we currently have available, please be aware that PCA Shop staff will not review artwork on a walk-in basis.

2015 Flight School Fellowship - Applications Open

Science Fiction and Fantasy Short Film Festival - Call for Submissions

EMP Museum in partnership with SIFF presents the tenth annual Science Fiction + Fantasy Short Film Festival. Filmmakers from around the world are encouraged to submit animated and live-action science fiction and fantasy films to this acclaimed festival.

The festival features excellent sci-fi/fantasy short films from around the world, and the tenth-annual festival will screen at the renowned historic Cinerama Theatre in Seattle, Washington in early 2015.

Future Tenant announces an open call for playwrights for the 11th annual Future Ten 10-minute play festival. Playwrights from across the country are invited to submit up to two 10-minute plays. Eight to ten finalists will be chosen to have their plays produced and performed in Future Tenant at the end of October.
