Learn to design and create your own movie using the popular technique of claymation. Participants will take on a creative roll to complete a short animated movie with a soundtrack. After completion of the class, students will receive a copy of the animated projects with additional “making–of” footage.

Get a better understanding of the basic principles of sound and the tools we use to shape it. Basic, yet powerful methods of sound gathering will be demonstrated to guide you through the often hidden world of recording, editing and processing. Small group projects will lead to final performances/recordings.

Many film and television special effects sequences incorporate “green screen” technology to create movie magic. Explore an imaginative world of fantastic possibilities using this popular production technique. Working in crews, participants will direct, perform and edit an original production. Just don’t wear green to class!
