Adobe Photoshop software is a creative tool which offers limitless possibilities for image manipulation. In this course, students will obtain a clear understanding of the Photoshop workspace through familiarization of the most commonly used features including the toolbox, palettes, sizing options, layers and preparing images for print and web publication. This class is not just for photographers, but anyone interested in applying the power of Photoshop to make better two-dimensional images. $160 members, $185 non-members

This more advanced circuit-building course is for students who want to delve deeper into making their own electronic music instruments. This class will clearly guide you through the steps of making or modifying guitar effect pedals, building electronic synthesizers and circuit-bending electronic toys. The basics of soldering, construction, and schematics will be covered. Participants will leave with a device/processor/ instrument of their own design and a good foundation for further electronic tinkering. (cost includes electronic parts needed to complete the project).
