Pittsburgh Print Goup

www.pittsburghprintgroup.com

Pittsburgh Print Group's purpose is to support artists who are printmakers through exhibitions, educational projects, and other promotional activities, as well as a commitment to the advancement and promotion of the printmaking art. It has approximately 40 artist members who work in Southwestern Pennsylvania and exhibit nationwide.

The Print Group seeks to advance the art of printmaking by providing vehicles for local printmakers to exhibit and sell their work through an open exchange of ideas and technical information. Members regularly conduct demonstrations, give lectures, and produce literature explaining printmaking and its place in contemporary art. The Group also joins with museums, art centers, schools and universities and galleries throughout the Pittsburgh region to produce educational programs covering the art and craft of printmaking.
