The Dollar Bank Three Rivers Arts Festival has connected the community to art and culture for 54 years.  While the free 10-day celebration attracts all walks of life for many reasons – music concerts, public art, children’s activities, theater and dance, gallery exhibitions, and more - the Artists Market is a perennial favorite.

Three Rivers Arts Festival Emerging Artist Scholarship Program

The Emerging Artist Scholarship Program helps Pittsburgh-region artists produce their first booth in an outdoor show.  Dollar Bank Three Rivers Arts Festival’s Emerging Artists Scholarship Program has become the model for others like it in Artists Markets throughout the nation and has launched the art careers of dozens of Pittsburgh-based artists.

Three Rivers Arts Festival Juried Visual Arts Exhibition

The Juried Visual Art Exhibition showcases the Pittsburgh region’s vibrant creative community and serves as another pillar of the Festival’s high-quality artistic offerings.  The exhibition is hosted inside the Trust Arts Education Center (Jim E. Rohr Building) at 805-807 Liberty Avenue in the Cultural District during each day of the Festival, June 7 – 16, 2013.

Call for Artists - Investing in Professional Artists Program

Sponsored by The Heinz Endowments and The Pittsburgh Foundation. This grants program is guided by a shared belief that artists are essential to the region’s cultural vitality. The program provides resources to professional artists for creative development; artist residency funds for cultural institutions; Artist Opportunity Grants through the Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council; and the Carol R. Brown Creative Achievement Awards.

Weave Magazine Call for Artists

Weave magazine is an art and literary publication, started in Pittsburgh in 2008, which seeks to create a space for a cross-section of writers and artists to celebrate diversity. Although the magazine mainly features literature, 5-15 pieces of artwork are selected to be include in the publication as well.

Silver Eye Center for Photography Fellowship 13

Silver Eye Center for Photography announces a Call for Entries for Fellowship 13, our international photography competition. Now in its 13th year, this competition recognizes both rising talent and established photographers from all corners of the globe and from the state of Pennsylvania. In addition to two awards for photographers, we will inaugurate this year a $500 Multimedia Storyteller Award for a short documentary video or internet-based project.
 

Master Visual Artists

Master Visual Artists: Preserving the Legacy is presenting ten Master Visual Artists at the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts in 2013.

The criteria is as follows:
- A person, sixty years of age or older
- Has had a noticeable career of artistic attainment
- Is still creating
- Made a measurable impact on the Southwest Pennsylvania community

PF/PCA Call for Artists

Submission Deadline: Proposals must be post marked or submitted electronically by August 17, 2012.

Exhibition Opportunities:
Pittsburgh Filmmakers/Pittsburgh Center for the Arts (PF/PCA) is accepting applications from artists living within a 150-mile radius of Pittsburgh for solo and collaborative exhibitions during the 2013 calendar year. This opportunity is open to artists working in any visual discipline including 2D, 3D, installation, and time based work.
