If you can paint, draw, or arrange color shapes then you can make a monotype. These painterly prints are the simplest form of printmaking. There are no rules, only possibilities. Explore surface techniques that cannot be obtained by working directly on paper. Learn both hand and press transfers and work in either water-based or oil-based media. Returning students are introduced to new techniques not previously covered in this class. Fee includes all inks. Paper can be purchased in class.
